Curious Plot’s Seed to Succeed Will Once Again Help a Nonprofit in Need
Annual pro bono grant program is back for 2024, where one organization will receive $75,000 of in-kind agency services.
MINNEAPOLIS (March 11, 2024) – It takes a seed to grow. That’s the thinking that inspired and continues to inform Seed to Succeed, the annual philanthropic and community support initiative from Curious Plot.
In its 15th year, this pro-bono program invites nonprofit organizations in agriculture, food or companion animal care to apply for $75,000 of in-kind agency services. Through April 15 equity- and inclusion-focused organizations that serve these sectors are also eligible to apply.
“For our team, the review and selection of the Seed to Succeed winner is one of the highlights of our year,” said Laurie Fleck, CEO, Curious Plot. “Our collective efforts through the Seed to Succeed program have made a tangible difference in the lives of those we support and have helped foster growth within these vital sectors.”
Curious Plot, a marketing, communications and consulting agency serving clients in the food, agriculture and companion animal care sectors, will select and announce one winner by May. This summer, the agency will work with the selected grant recipient to provide integrated service offerings, including public relations and reputation management, creative and experience, digital and engagement; and consulting and learning services.
“To date, our contributions have amounted to nearly $600,000, which is a testament to our dedication to giving back to the community,” said Fleck. “At the core of our actions lies our purpose of believing in better. By supporting these 501(c)3 businesses, we are not only giving back to the community but also actively contributing to the improvement and sustainability of the food, agriculture and companion animal sectors.
Most recently, Curious Plot partnered with American Farmland Trust to support farmland preservation via brand development for AFT’s grant-making initiatives. Since its 2009 debut, Seed to Succeed has supported such varied organizations as AgChat Foundation, Farm Journal Foundation, Grow North MN, the Partnership for Food Safety Education, Produce for Better Health Foundation, Project EverGreen and Southern Peanut Growers.
